What dreams can do!

1 thing I have come to realize in life is that no one is good for nothing! No one is good for everything! But every single being on this earth is good for something! There is power in the dreams people have…. The first step to success is having a dream!
This is the story of Rev. Dr.Charles Olowojoba (reality-no lies):
Charles was a young boy who was born into a Muslim family and had a big dream! He wanted to be a medical doctor and own his own clinic someday. When he completed his high school education, his dad told him “listen up young man, this is where it ends for you. No more education. I have a project to complete and this is where we draw the curtains”. Charles felt disappointed but was so determined to make his dream a reality…
Charles used his savings to travel to stay with one of his relatives ( his uncle to be precise), ate barely a meal each day, trekked almost 3miles every day to go and study at the nearest library and denied himself rest at some point…
He wrote 4 entrance examinations and got accepted into three. Out of 22,000 candidates that sat for the exams of the University of his Choice, only 105 were admitted, himself inclusive! Charles pleaded with his dad to pay his fees and reluctantly, his dad honored his request.
Charles accepted Jesus Christ in his first year and when he told his family about it, his dad told him he was done! He told him to make a choice between his faith and school and he chose Jesus. A week to his resumption, he’s name was mysteriously published in various newspapers which said that he had been shortlisted for a government scholarship.
Charles went through medical school successfully and later had his dream become a reality when he established “Maycare Hospital and Clinics” in Kano, Nigeria which was recognized nationwide. He held various positions in the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA). However, he answered the call of God and went into full time ministry in the city of Abuja. He is presently the President and founder of Dayspring Christian Ministries. He is happily married with a son.
What people thought was impossible came to pass and it all started as a dream! With God on one’s side and self-determination, every dream (no matter how big) can become a reality! We need not despise our days of little beginning. DREAM BIG!
